Did you know March 10 is Mario Day?
"Mar 10"... "Mario"... Get it? (Who knew Hax0r could be used so adorably?)
In honor of Mario Day, Mom's Basement has done a post of Mario themed artwork, and one of my prints is featured! You can see them all here.
I'm kinda in love with the painting that leads the post, 'Mario World' by Orioto. It's not often I see a video game themed piece of art and think, "I would like that in my living room/dining room/fancy room." (Not that we have a "fancy room". Not yet anyway...I'm looking at you, giant weird shed in the backyard that was mysteriously locked every time we toured the property).
I have been stitching up a storm the past week or so, getting ready to decorate the baby's room. I finally designed some fabric for one or two special swaddling blankets. And yes, of course, I designed a throw pillow too. Not for the crib, since I've already shared the dangers of everything soft with you, but for a rocking chair. We've been happily scouring Good Wills and secondhand shops for a rocker and a small bookcase. I'll share my projects and our finds with you soon!
