Bear on the Moon

I've been on a real bear kick lately (as you may have noticed). And thanks to the Mars rover Curiosity, I've been on a real space kick too. Last week I gave into both and painted "Bear on the Moon."

That's one small step for bears, one giant leap for bearkind. 

I hope that suit is air conditioned.

I included the Ursa Major and Minor constellations.

Sorry I haven't posted much recently. I've been working on several secret commissions and projects, which I hope to share here in the future. It's kept me from having sketches to show you, but there's a new painting on my desk which I hope to finish and share in the next couple of days!
