Christmas morning has arrived, and hopefully Santa has been good to you!
Whether you celebrate the birth of Jesus, good will toward man, or merely the peace and love of the season, I hope you have a wonderful day today. The feeling of Christmas, that magic that you can go to bed and wake up with a new day of wonders to discover, is a beautiful thing. In many ways it's a celebration of the potential of each day to be the greatest yet and the potential of us to be our greatest selves. The shepherds in the fields, Ebenezer Scrooge, and George Bailey all found in Christmas day a certain peace, a redemption, and an appreciation for the life around us. As a Christian, I am delighted today that Christ was born, and as a human I am delighted that you were born, that I was born, and I hope we can be friends and be kind to each other always.
Merry Christmas!

A Very Happy Christmas to ALL of you! Just knew we had to have a lot in common, Georgia - other than Uncle Brendan. What a gorgeous specimen is Elvis! I was bred with Chocolate Point Siamese, and secretly prefer them to all other cats. Presently, have to keep that to myself - as am proud Grandma to three Grandkittens, who can best be described as Moggies! All thoroughy loved: but once a Siamese fan, always......
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, the three of you! Isobel
A very Happy Christmas to you and Peter as well, Isobel!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you like Siamese too! Growing up those were the only breed we had, as my Mom was miraculously not allergic to them (their coat is different, we were told). We had a great, big, fat, smart, wonderful fellow named Roscoe who lived to be 17 years old! I hope to have our Elvis for that long (and Puck too, though he is not Siamese, he's in good company!)
